Walter Mann began researching disinfecting and sanitizing options for non-washable equipment after realizing the health risks that his family faced from the viruses and bacteria in his children’s sports equipment.
After tireless research, he found that disinfecting and sanitizing by tightly controlling ozone concentration and humidity was the best solution, but was offered by no one.
Mann soon designed an ozone machine in which his family could disinfect and sanitize their gear, and ZONOsanitech™ was born. He then took the concept one step further for sports, by adding the capability to dry wet gear, which is now used in the public safety and fitness industries.
ZONOsanitech™ has since partnered with ZONO Technologies™ and Lockwood Manufacturing to develop and distribute the ZONO™ Disinfecting and Sanitizing Cabinet.
